Sweet Dill Crispy Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 medium cucumbers
    8 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. pickling spice
    5 tsp. salt
    4 c. cider vinegar
Preparation
    Cover cucumbers
    with boiling water.
    Stand for 24 hours.
    Drain; repeat this process for 4 days.
    On the 5th day, drain and slice in 1/2-inch pieces.
    Combine sugar, spices, salt and vinegar.
    Bring to boil and pour over pickles.
    Let stand 2 days.
    On the 3rd day, bring to a boil and seal in hot jars.
    Do not overcook.
