Red Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. kidney beans
    2 large onions, chopped
    1 large bell pepper, chopped
    3 cloves garlic, chopped
    2 bay leaves
    3 stalks celery, chopped
    4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    1 tsp. Tabasco
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire
    1 ham bone or 2 c. sliced sausage
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight in water.
    Drain and place in a Dutch oven.
    Add remaining ingredients and enough water to cover by 2 inches.
    Cook slowly for 2 hours; stir occasionally.
    Adjust seasoning to taste.
    Mash a few beans to thicken gravy.
    Serve with rice, salsa and cornbread.
    Freezes well, also.
