Baked Doughnuts Or Cinnamon Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    2 3/4 c. sugar
    2 pkg. yeast or 2 Tbsp. yeast
    4 c. flour
    4 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    1/2 c. warm water
Preparation
    In a saucepan over low heat, stir sugar, salt, nutmeg, shortening and milk until shortening is melted.
    Cool.
    Add eggs and yeast dissolved in water.
    Add flour and beat.
    Add flour as needed. Let rise to double.
    Knead and roll to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut and place on greased cookie sheets and let rise again.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
    Finish as desired.
