Heavenly Lime Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 (6 oz.) pkg. lime Jell-O
2 c. boiling water
1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
18 large marshmallows
1/4 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. cold water
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Dissolve Jell-O in 2 cups boiling water.
Mash cream cheese. Add hot Jell-O and mix slowly.
Stir until dissolved.
Melt marshmallows in 1/4 cup boiling water in top of double boiler, then add Jell-O mixture.
Add 1 1/2 cups of cold water.
Add Cool Whip and beat mixture until it is smooth.
Add pineapple and nuts. Pour into greased mold or large baking dish.
Chill until set.
