Paella Ole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. shrimp, cleaned
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 Tbsp. butter
1 1/4 c. chicken broth
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1/2 c. sliced pepperoni
1 pkg. peas and pearl onions, thawed
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
1 1/2 c. Minute rice
1/8 tsp. saffron (optional)
Preparation

Cook and stir shrimp and garlic in butter in skillet until shrimp turn pink.
Mix broth and cornstarch together and stir into shrimp.
Add tomatoes, pepperoni and vegetables.
Cook and stir until mix thickens and comes to a full boil.
Stir in rice and saffron.
Cover and remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes.
Fluff. Makes 4 servings.
