Strawberries Romanoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 qt. fresh strawberries
1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1 c. chilled whipping cream
1/4 c. orange-flavored liqueur or, if desired, orange juice

Preparation

Sprinkle strawberries with sugar; stir gently.
Cover.
Chill 2 hours.
Just before serving, beat cream in chilled bowl until stiff.
Gradually stir in liqueur.
Fold in strawberries.
