Rhubarb Cherry Crunch - cooking recipe

1 c. oatmeal
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. white sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. almond extract
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 c. chopped rhubarb
1 c. water
21 oz. can cherry pie filling
Preparation

Mix oatmeal, brown sugar, salt, flour and butter.
Reserve some for topping; pat rest into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Pour cut rhubarb over crust.
