Strawberry Shortcake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. shortening
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 large or 2 small eggs
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
Alternately add milk and flour mixture.
Spread in 10 or 12-inch pan.
Bake for 20 to 30 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
