Coconut Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1 c. cream of coconut
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 c. shortening
    5 eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. grated lemon rind
Preparation
    Cream the butter and shortening.
    Beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Combine flour and baking powder. Add to creamed mixture alternately with cream of coconut.
    Mix until blended after each addition. Stir in lemon rind and vanilla.
    Pour batter into tube pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. A very good pound cake.
