Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1 1/3 c. water
    1 c. raisins
    2 c. grated carrots
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil or butter
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. soda
    pinch of salt
    1 c. walnut meats
Preparation
    Mix and boil first eight ingredients.
    Boil slowly for 5 minutes.
    Add flour, soda, salt and walnuts.
    Bake in slow oven (300\u00b0) for at least 1 1/4 hours.
