German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    potatoes (amount you need)
    1 onion
    3/4 c. water
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 lb. bacon
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. (heaping) flour
    4 Tbsp. bacon drippings
Preparation
    Boil amount of potatoes you need for amount of people you are serving. Fry bacon in a skillet until crisp. Remove bacon strips from the pan. Saut onion in bacon drippings until limp; then add flour, then sugar, salt, pepper, water and vinegar. Boil 2 minutes. Add crumbled bacon and potatoes to the seasoned sauce. Heat slowly.
