Lemon Cheese Pie - cooking recipe

3/4 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. butter, softened
2 Tbsp. yellow corn meal
5 eggs
1 Tbsp. grated lemon zest
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Cream butter and sugar together in a medium bowl.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Beat in the cornmeal, lemon zest and lemon juice.
Pour the mixture into pie shell and bake for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
