Mer'S Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. sirloin steak
2 bell peppers
1 large onion
1 small bottle ketchup
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water (more if needed)
salt and pepper to taste
1 clove garlic
2 Tbsp. shortening
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation

Cut steak and peppers into bite size pieces.
Cut onion into wedges.
Cook onion in shortening until transparent.
Set aside and cook peppers until tender; set aside.
Brown steak and add ketchup and cornstarch, dissolved in water.
Add garlic, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce and cook until sauce thickens. Add peppers and onion minutes before serving.
Cook until thoroughly heated.
Serve over rice.
