Margarita Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. sugar
    4 c. water
    1 pt. tequila
    2 oz. Cointreau or Triple Sec liqueur
    2 c. fresh lemon juice
    3 Tbsp. orange extract
Preparation
    Combine the sugar and water in a large saucepan; boil until the sugar is dissolved.
    Let cool.
    Add the remaining ingredients. Chill.
    Yields 1/2 gallon.
