Strawberry Nut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 c. pecans or walnuts
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 c. boiling water
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed and drained
    3 medium mashed bananas
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Drain pineapple and add to strawberries, bananas and half of the nuts.
    Add to jello mixture. Spread 1/2 of the mixture into a 8 x 12 x 2-inch Pyrex pan and chill for 1 1/2 hours.
    Spread sour cream over top of the jello mixture and sprinkle with rest of the nuts.
    Chill several hours or overnight.
    Serves 12.
