Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. (5 c.) apples, cored and sliced
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. all-purpose flour
4 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Place the apples in a buttered casserole and sprinkle water over them.
Mix together the sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt and flour and rub in the butter.
Sprinkle this mixture over the apples.
Cover and bake 1/2 hour.
Remove cover and bake another 1/2 hour.
