Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat, cut into bite-size pieces
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
    1/2 c. dry red wine
    onion
    carrots
    potatoes
Preparation
    Cut up onion, carrots and potatoes into bite-size pieces. Place meat into casserole; put vegetables on top of meat.
    Sprinkle with onion soup mix.
    Combine soup and wine; pour over top.
    Cover with foil and casserole lid.
    Put in 250\u00b0 oven for 5 hours.
    This can also be made in a crock-pot.
