French Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. 6 oz. thinly sliced onions
    3 oz. butter
    1 tsp. green pepper
    1 tsp. paprika
    2 bay leaves
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 qt. beef bouillon (can or cubes)
Preparation
    Melt butter; add onion.
    Saute 20 minutes.
    Add paprika, pepper, bay leaves and flour.
    Stir; mix well over low heat.
    Add small amount of bouillon and cook for 5 minutes.
    Gradually add rest of bouillon; simmer for 30 minutes or place all ingredients in crock-pot for several hours.
    Place slice of French bread in bowl and shredded Provolone or Gruyere cheese.
    Brown under broiler.
