Crisp Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 quarts sliced pickles
    6 white sliced onions
    3 cloves garlic, sliced
    1 green pepper sliced
    1/3 c. coarse medium salt
    3 c. vinegar
    5 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp turmeric
    1 1/2 tsp celery seeds
    2 tsp mustard seeds
Preparation
    Slice pickles, onions, peppers and garlic. Cover with ice cubes-drain. Combine other ingredients; pour over cucumber mixture. Heat just to a boil. Seal in hot jars. Makes 8 pints.
