Schnecker - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter or oleo (2 sticks)
    1/2 lb. (8 oz.) cream cheese
    2 c. flour, sifted
    a little milk (if necessary)
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine butter and cream cheese.
    Blend until smooth.
    Add flour and salt gradually into butter mixture.
    Knead into ball. Chill 1/2 hour.
    Roll out about 1/4-inch thick; cut into 2 1/2-inch squares.
    Spread each square with raspberry jam, apricot jam, etc., to within 1/4 inch of edges.
    Roll up firmly; place rolled edge down on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for about 12 minutes.
