Cranberry Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) can small whole beets, undrained
    1 (8 oz.) can whole-berry cranberry sauce
    1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation
    Put beets and cranberry sauce into saucepan and heat until blended.
    Stir in orange rind, then cornstarch which has been dissolved in cold water.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
    Fine with all pork dishes.
    Leftovers reheat well.
    Yields 4 servings.
    Double recipe to serve 6 to 8.
