Taco Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef (can use turkey)
    1 medium chopped onion
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
    1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix (dry)
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can corn
    3 (14 1/2 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
    1 can kidney beans, undrained
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Brown meat and onion; drain off most of fat.
    Add to rest of ingredients in large pot and bring to boil.
    Simmer 30 minutes on low.
