Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose vegetable shortening
2 1/4 c. sugar
3 medium eggs
3 (1 oz.) bottles red food coloring
3 1/4 c. Red Band plain all-purpose flour
2 heaping Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour three 9-inch cake pans.
Cream shortening and sugar in large mixing bowl until fluffy.
Continue to mix slowly and add eggs, one at a time.
Whip until mixture is light and fluffy.
