Aunt Dorothy'S Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. beef pot roast
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning
    4 to 5 tablespoons vinegar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    few drops Gravy Master
    4 c. water
    flour
    salt and pepper
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    carrots (optional)
Preparation
    Coat meat with flour, salt and pepper.
    Brown meat in Dutch oven in 1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
    Drain grease, if any.
    Add 4 cups of water (1/2 way up meat).
    Add Italian seasoning, 4 to 5 tablespoons vinegar, bouillon cubes and sugar.
    Simmer for 3 hours.
    Add water now and then.
    Add carrots 1 hour before.
    Take out meat.
    Add flour and cold water
    paste and mix fast.
    Add couple drops of Gravy Master.
