M&M Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) pkg. plain M&M's
1 c. margarine
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts (optional)

Preparation

Coarsely chop 1 1/2 cups candies; use remaining to decorate tops.
Beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
Blend in eggs and vanilla.
Add flour, soda and salt.
Mix well.
Stir in chopped candies and nuts.
Drop on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350\u00b0 for 9 to 11 minutes.
Put M&M's on top before baking. Yields 5 dozen.
