Chocolate Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 sq. German chocolate
    4 c. whole milk
    2 c. sugar
    2 dashes salt
    3 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. half and half
    1 c. whipping cream
Preparation
    Melt chocolate in 2 cups milk in top of double boiler.
    Add salt and sugar; stir until melted.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla; beat until foamy.
    Add half and half.
    Beat; fold in whipping cream.
    Cool in refrigerator until ready to freeze (about 30 minutes).
