Molasses Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
2 c. boiling water
1 c. molasses
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Crumb flour, sugar and Crisco together.
Remove 1 rounded cup of crumbs for top of cake.
Dissolve remaining crumbs in 2 cups boiling water.
Add molasses, baking powder and baking soda; mix.
