Caramel Nut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 pkg. light brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    5 eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. plain flour
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream the butter, shortening and brown sugar. Gradually add white sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Combine baking powder, salt and flour. Add alternately with milk to creamed mixture, beginning and ending with flour. Add vanilla and nuts. Bake in a tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
