Creamed Chicken With Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. white meat chicken, cut up
    1 c. milk (whole or evaporated)
    mushrooms, as desired
    salt and pepper
    few strips of pimento
    1 tsp. butter
Preparation
    Heat
    milk
    in\ttop
    of
    double boiler.
    Add the cut up chicken
    and
    allow
    to
    heat through.
    Brown the mushrooms in frying
    pan
    using 1 teaspoon butter.
    Pour this into the milk and chicken
    and
    allow
    to
    simmer
    until
    the flavor of the mushrooms
    goes
    through the milk.\tServe on a piece of toast, garnish
    with
    few strips of pimento and a sprinkle of nutmeg. Exchanges:\t3 meat, 1 milk, 1 vegetable, 1 fat, 1 bread.
