Caramel Pecan Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. whipped cream
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine all ingredients, except vanilla.
    Bring to a boil and stir occasionally.
    Boil 3 to 4 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in vanilla. Cool slightly to thicken.
