Cock-A-Doodle Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sliced carrots
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 bay leaf
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3 c. chicken broth
    3 to 4 c. chopped, cooked chicken
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 c. water
    1 pkg. refrigerated biscuits
Preparation
    Combine vegetables, seasonings and broth in a large pan and bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
    Add chicken and continue cooking 10 more minutes.
    Remove and discard the bay leaf.
    Mix together the flour and water and quickly add to the stew, stirring well.
    Bring to a boil again and pour into a 13 x 9-inch pan or casserole dish.
    Top with refrigerated biscuits and bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
