Country Apple Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 (12 oz.) pkg. pitted prunes, chopped
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
3 eggs
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
3 c. shredded, peeled apples
3 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, beat sugar, oil and eggs for 2 minutes at medium speed. Blend in apples. Combine dry ingredients. Gradually beat into egg mixture. Stir in prunes and nuts. Spoon into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes.
Invert onto wire rack to cool.
