Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 cup flour
    2/3 cup packed brown sugar
    2 cups milk
    2 egg yolks, beaten
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 cup heavy cream
    4-6 firm bananas, sliced
    chopped nuts, optional
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine flour and sugar; stir in milk.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly.
    Cook 1 minute more.
    Remove from heat.
    Gradually stir about 1 cup mixture into egg yolks.
    Return all to saucepan.
    Bring to a gentle boil; cook and stir 2 minutes.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in butter and vanilla. Cool to room temperature stirring occasionally.
    Fold in whipped cream.
    Layer 1/3 of pudding in 2-qt. bowl.
    Top with half of the bananas.
    Repeat layers topping with pudding. Sprinkle with nuts. Cover and chill at least 2 hours before serving.
