Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. melted Crisco
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 tsp. salt
5 c. pastry flour
3 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon or other spices
Preparation

Mix sugar and Crisco well together.
Add eggs slowly, beating thoroughly.
Stir in nuts, then add flour, soda, salt and spices which have been sifted together.
After mixture has been well beaten, shape into rolls about 2 1/2 inches in diameter.
Place in refrigerator overnight.
When ready, slice as thin as you can. Bake at 375\u00b0.
Remove while warm.
