Griddle Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 c. milk
4 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together.
Beat egg until light; add milk and melted butter.
Then add liquid mixture to flour, stirring well to make a smooth batter (use rotary beater).
Preheat griddle on large unit (grill or frypan) for 3 to 5 minutes and grease with 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of shortening. Lower heat and bake cakes to a golden brown.
