Christmas Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. Brazil nuts
    3 c. dates
    2 1/4 c. English walnuts
    1 bottle red maraschino cherries
    1 bottle green maraschino cherries
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    salt
    4 eggs, separated
Preparation
    Combine nuts and dates; cover with sugar, cherries and green juice.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add beaten egg yolks and flour to nut and cherry mixture.
    Fold in beaten egg whites. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Yields 2 loaves.
