Gingered Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium chicken, cut into pieces
    2 Tbsp. fresh ginger, cut into small strips
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    3 tsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 c. beer
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 c. chicken stock
Preparation
    Wash chicken pieces well and drain.
    In heavy casserole, place chicken and remaining ingredients.
    Simmer for 1 hour until chicken is tender and sauce is reduced but not dry.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
