Sunday Supper Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. Crisco
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1/4 lb. (1 c.) American cheese, shredded
    5 to 6 hot dogs (1/2 lb.)
    3 c. sliced potatoes
Preparation
    Melt Crisco; add onion and cook until tender.
    Stir in flour and salt.
    Add milk and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened and beginning to boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in mustard and cheese.
    Cut hot dogs in 1/4-inch slices.
    Arrange alternate layers of potatoes, hot dogs and cheese sauce in 2-quart greased casserole.
    Top with cheese sauce.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
    Serve hot.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
