Jody'S Killer Grand Marnier Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg yolks
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. warm milk
    1/4 c. Grand Marnier
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. grated orange rind
    1/2 c. heavy cream
Preparation
    In double boiler, combine egg yolks, cornstarch and sugar. Beat mixture until it is pale yellow.
    Add the warm milk and set over the simmering water.
    Whisk the mixture constantly until it gets thick and heavily coats a spoon when dipped in.
    Do not boil! When custard is done, remove from heat immediately and add Grand Marnier, vanilla and orange rind.
    Allow to cool completely, then refrigerate it covered 2 to 3 hours.
