Never Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 1/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    5 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation
    Sift flour, blend in shortening until crumbs are the size of peas.
    Beat egg; add vinegar, salt and water.
    Mix with fork until mixture leaves the sides of bowl and forms a ball.
    Roll out on floured surface.
    Makes pastry for one 2-crust pie.
