Royal Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. water
    1/4 c. flour
    3 c. sliced apples
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix sugar, flour and salt.
    Add water and vinegar; cook until thick, stirring constantly.
    Remove from stove.
    Add butter and vanilla; pour this over apples.
    Put in unbaked crust; put top crust on.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 minutes, or until done.
