Peanut Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. white syrup
    1 lb. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Cook sugar, water and syrup to a hard boil (little yellow). Add peanuts.
    Cook until golden brown, less than 5 minutes.
    Add vanilla and baking soda.
    Mix well.
    Pour into a well-buttered cookie pan.
