Apricot Or Peach Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 flat can crushed pineapple
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    1 small pkg. peach or apricot jello
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    6 oz. Cool Whip
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Put into saucepan the pineapple, sugar and jello.
    Bring to a boil; remove from heat and cool.
    In mixing bowl, stir together buttermilk and Cool Whip.
    Add cooled jello mixture and fold with buttermilk mixture.
    Add pecans.
    Pour into mold and refrigerate 6 to 8 hours before serving.
    (Use 5 cup mold.)
