Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. shortening
    1 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1/3 c. water
    2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 pkg. yeast, dissolved in c. warm water
Preparation
    Cut shortening into flour; add remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Knead dough on floured surface and roll into 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut biscuits and place on greased pan.
    Brush with melted butter.
    Bake until lightly brown at 400\u00b0.
