Hot Chicken Salad #2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cut up, cooked chicken
    2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped almonds or pecans
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
    2 Tbsp. chopped onions
    1 can water chestnuts, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can peas or 1 pkg. frozen peas
    1 small can mushrooms
    1/3 c. grated Swiss cheese
    1 c. crushed potato chips
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except potato chips and grated cheese.
    I usually blend the mushroom soup with mayonnaise, adding a little milk to thin mixture slightly.
    Bake in buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Sprinkle with chips and cheese and bake another 10 minutes.
