Raisin Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

24 oz. (1 1/2 lb.) raisins
2 1/2 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. butter
6 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 can evaporated milk
Preparation

Cook raisins with just enough water to cover them.
Cook until water is almost cooked out of them, then add milk and bring to a boil.
Mix sugar and cornstarch together.
Pour into boiling raisins.
Cook until desired thickness, or if needed add more cornstarch.
Pour into pie shells and put top crust on it.
Spread melted butter over crust and sprinkle with brown sugar.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until top crust is browned.
Makes 2 pies.
