Sour Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    5 eggs (1 at a time)
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 c. sour cream
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add sugar, cream well.
    Add 1 egg at a time. Beat well after each egg.
    Reduce speed.
    Alternate flour and sour cream.
    Add vanilla.
    Add black walnuts, if desired.
    Bake in greased tube or Bundt pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
    Test for doneness as it may take a longer baking time.
