Strawberry Rice Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. rice
    3 c. water
    1 pkg. wild strawberry jello
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1 small container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cook rice in water until tender.
    Drain rice, reserving water. Dissolve jello in 1/2 cup hot rice water.
    Add sugar, rice and pineapple.
    Refrigerate.
    When partially set, add Cool Whip.
