Beet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. whole beets
    3 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cook and peel
    4 quarts of whole beets.
    Slice and pack while hot in
    hot
    jars.\tMix
    vinegar, sugar, water, salt and cinnamon together.
    Bring to a boil and boil 15 minutes.
    Pour over beets. Seal while hot.
