Mashed Hot Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    1/2 chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped dill pickles and juice or vinegar
    1 c. chopped hard-boiled eggs (boiled)
    2 strips crispy fried bacon (reserve grease)
Preparation
    Cut potatoes in 4 pieces.
    Peel and boil until tender.
    Mash until lumps are gone.
    Stir in onion, pickles, juice and 3 teaspoons bacon grease.
    Fold in eggs.
    (Salt and pepper are optional.)
    Garnish with chopped bacon and sliced egg.
    Makes about 1/2 quart.
